Nola in November

Join us for poetry and community in one of the most

vibrant, creative, artistic, historically rich

cities in the world!

November 2nd-5th, 2023

New Orleans, LA

Are you ready to unleash your creative side and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of New Orleans? Join us for an unforgettable poetry retreat in the heart of the city!

Oh, and did we mention we’ll be staying in a converted FireHouse?? located near the French Quarter in the Faubourg Marigny, considered by many travel magazines to be one of America's hot neighborhoods.

Some of the highlights of the trip will include:

  • Visiting the sculpture garden and the French Quarter, where you will find inspiration in the unique architecture and rich history of the city.

  • Enjoying beignets and coffee at the famous Cafe Du Monde.

  • Exploring art galleries, where you will be exposed to the works of local artists.

  • 6+ writing classes, where you will learn new writing techniques and gain inspiration from the vibrant energy of New Orleans.

Alix & Jenn are experienced facilitators and will guide you through the writing process, providing you with feedback and support along the way. But the real magic of these retreats is getting to connect with other writers from all over the place!

Seriously, you will meet the best people, and everyone has so much wisdom to share, even if you consider yourself a beginner or “not a writer!”

While New Orleans is known to be an amazing party town, this retreat is especially designed for sensitive people, for those who crave novelty and new experiences but also need a lot of alone time, quiet, space, and rest between activities.

This retreat is for the social introverts, the liminal space wanderers, the poets and the contemplatives.

Those who love art and music and deep conversations around the fire.

This is a space to get away from everything that prevents you from finding you.

The beautiful space!
