Substack is a pretty great combo of both.
Once upon a time, the internet felt slower. We’d write posts, hit publish, and people would actually read them. They’d leave comments, subscribe, follow along like it mattered.
Substack is the closest thing I’ve found to that golden age of blogging and early social media. Your words go straight into your readers’ inboxes and also to a website where they live exactly like a blog. No algorithms, just you, your voice, and your people. I’ve been successfully building Earth & Verse for 18 months and I’m genuinely making money with my writing for the first time ever.
