I’ve been looking forward to this wedding ever since I met Alisha and Neill and even more so after their engagement shoot. The day was amazing, and we managed to avoid the storms and the heat! We started at the Allerton Hotel, proceeded to Promontory Point, a small firehouse (with lovely and accommodating men-folk) and finally made our way to Volo in Roscoe Village. Part of me is sad it’s over now, but luckily (!) I can console myself with these….
Nancy and Shayne met me at my apartment in Pilsen the day after their wedding and man did we have fun running around Chicago.
Nancy & Shayne had a beautiful luncheon ceremony at the Mayslake Peabody Estate, which is in my opinion one of the most underused venues in the Chicagoland area. Talk about gorgeous. Their day was full of music and dancing, personality and love. Oh! And I have to mention that Nancy and her father danced to the Dr. Who theme song! Amazing. Charlotte and Billy got married on a slightly rainy Friday in April at the White Pines Golf Course. From henna tattoos to custom-made Converse for the groomsmen, this wedding was full of little surprises. Perhaps my favorite moment was the first dance to “Falling slowly” from the movie Once. Lovely all around.
